Just In: Vanessa Bruno and athé

Our first shipment of Vanessa Bruno and athé for fall 2012 has arrived, and it's a decidedly darker affair than recent V.B. collections. Both lines are a backdrop of black against which rich jewel tones, sumptuous silks and detailed knits stand out. 

This collection is richly detailed, moody, but with the light touch that Vanessa Bruno fans have come to expect from the designer. In this case, the lightness shines through the dark in the form of silk organza, open weave sleeves, rounded hems, and constellation-like sparkles.

For our Vanessa Bruno loyalists and for newcomers to this fantastic designer alike, this fall's collection is not to be missed!

These looks continue in the long tradition of casual elegance that Vanessa Bruno has perfected. The vibe is laid back, chic, and pretty without being too precious -- in short, the subtly cool Parisian style we strive to offer at nida.

New Arrivals from Vanessa Bruno

Vanessa Bruno's spring collection is a patchwork of gorgeous fabrics and subtle references to a range of inspirations. She maintained the cool silhouettes that define her Parisian chic line, in straight-cut dresses, blouses, and trousers.

Fabrics in both the runway collection and athé line display classic feminine flourishes, like eyelets and tiny floral prints. But the cuts maintain a 1960s, modern sense of cool casual dress.

While this dress looks great on the runway, it must be seen and felt in person. 

The silk is the perfect weight, and the print, fabrication, and details are incredible.

This silk tank top makes a great layering piece, with mixed prints or basics.
