Melissa Plastic Boots for Fall

This fall, we continue to feature a number of new styles from the Brazilian plastic shoe company Melissa. All Melissa shoes are made from a patented "Melflex" plastic which is very flexible and recyclable. The company also recycles 99.9% of its water and waste, including recycling overstock shoes into the next season's collection, according to this proflie by Inhabitat.
With the recent rainy weather, we only thought it appropriate to feature some great fall styles. These oxford ankle boots are the coolest potential rain boot we've seen, but these could easily work as everyday shoes with jeans or tights, for a shiny addition to a casual outfit.

This tall boot for fall/winter with a knit cuff makes a sleek alternative to typical rain boot styles.

Finally, these last two pink and blue ankle boots are the latest from the ongoing collaboration between the Melissa brand and Vivienne Westwood's 'Anglomania' label.

See you soon!
